Corfu Yoga & Meditation Retreat

Corfu's interior is a landscape of dense olive groves, cypress trees, and stone-walled Venetian estates that most visitors never see because the island's beach resorts occupy the coast almost entirely. This three-day retreat is based at a hillside property in the village of Pelekas, roughly 12 kilometres from Corfu Town, using the property's terraced gardens and a covered outdoor platform as the primary practice spaces. Each day follows a structure of morning yoga (90 minutes, starting at 7:30 to catch the cooler hours), a group breakfast with local produce, and an afternoon activity that varies by day: on day one, a guided walk through the olive groves to a Venetian water cistern; on day two, a private boat excursion along the northwest coast to Paleokastritsa, where the turquoise water in the sheltered bays is some of the clearest on the island; on day three, a visit to the Old Town with free afternoon time. Evening sessions are shorter — 60 minutes of restorative or yin practice — followed by a communal dinner. The yoga programme is designed for practitioners with some prior experience; beginners are welcome with prior discussion. The retreat is intentionally small to keep group dynamics conducive to quiet and focus. Corfu's climate makes this kind of programme viable from April through October; spring and early autumn are preferable for those who find intense heat disruptive to practice. Bring your own mat if you have a preferred brand; mats are available on site.
