At the Grove of Agios Nikolaos, the terrain is flat with beautiful and easy-to-walk dirt or paved paths, ideal for strolling.

Tour Description:

A tour that has it all: a unique journey through time, culture, and Macedonian nature! Our day starts with a visit to Ancient Aigai (Vergina), the site that hosts one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. Next, we will move to picturesque Veria for a walk through its traditional neighborhoods. Our excursion will culminate in a true earthly paradise, the lush green Grove of Agios Nikolaos in Naoussa, for relaxation and good food beneath the century-old plane trees.

Indicative Itinery

| Departure: Gathering at our office in Kalamaria (or at the pre-arranged meeting point) and departure.

| First Stop - Vergina: Arrival at Ancient Aigai. Time to visit the Museum of the Royal Tombs and feel the awe of Macedonian history.

| Second Stop - Veria: Transfer to nearby Veria. Here you will have free time for a beautiful walk in the picturesque alleys by the river and, of course, to enjoy a coffee in the city.

| Departure for Naoussa: We leave Veria behind and head towards the Grove of Agios Nikolaos.

| Arrival at Agios Nikolaos: Free time in the verdant Grove. You can stroll along the park's paths, have lunch at the excellent local tavernas, and enjoy your afternoon coffee in the coolness of nature.

| Return Journey: Filled with beautiful images and sweet flavors, we board the vehicle for the way back.

| Evening Drop-off: Arrival back in Thessaloniki, at the departure point.

What to Bring (Tips & Equipment):

Comfortable shoes (ideally sneakers), as the traditional neighborhoods of Veria have several cobbled streets.

A light jacket, as the temperature at the Grove of Agios Nikolaos is always cooler due to the running waters and the dense shade of the trees.

In Veria: It is an absolute must to try or buy the famous, syrupy Revani of the city – the ultimate local dessert!

In Agios Nikolaos: The local tavernas are famous for their excellent meats as well as fresh trout. Accompany your meal with a glass of Xinomavro wine from Naoussa, one of the world's top wine varieties.
