Plain-English summary

FindToursIn keeps cookies to a minimum: a session cookie if you log in as an agency, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity that help us understand how the site performs and where visitors get stuck. We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies. The Stripe checkout flow sets its own cookies but only if you initiate a subscription payment.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text strings that a website saves in your browser to remember things between visits or across pages. Some are required for the site to work; others are optional and help us understand site performance.

2. The cookies FindToursIn sets

2.1 Session cookie (essential)

If you log in as an agency, we set an authentication cookie issued by Supabase. This cookie keeps you signed in while you manage your listings. It expires when you log out or after a period of inactivity (typically 1 hour). Without this cookie, the dashboard cannot work.

2.2 Google Analytics 4 cookie (analytics)

Used to count page views and measure how the site performs. The cookie is set under Google's domain (_ga). It contains a pseudonymous visitor ID. We don't enable Google's advertising features and we don't use the data for retargeting. You can opt out by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on or by clearing the cookie in your browser.

2.3 Microsoft Clarity cookies (analytics)

Used for anonymised session replays and heatmaps that show how people use the site — where they click, how far they scroll, and where they get stuck — so we can improve usability. Clarity automatically masks the text you read and anything you type into forms, so we see interactions, not content. The cookies are set under Clarity's domain (e.g. _clck, _clsk) and hold a pseudonymous ID. We don't use the data for advertising or to identify you; clear the cookies in your browser to opt out.

2.4 Stripe cookies (only on checkout)

Stripe sets its own cookies when you initiate a subscription payment. These are required for fraud prevention and PCI-compliance. Stripe's cookie policy applies to those cookies; we don't control them.

3. Cookies we don't set

  • Advertising cookies — none.
  • Retargeting pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) — none.
  • Affiliate-network cookies — none.
  • Personalisation cookies — none.

4. How to control cookies

Every modern browser lets you view and clear cookies. Here's where:

Clearing the analytics cookie does not affect site functionality; clearing the session cookie will sign you out of the agency dashboard.

5. Do Not Track

We honour the Do Not Track header where the browser sends one. When DNT is on, we suppress the analytics cookie automatically; only the essential session cookie is set.

6. Changes

We will update this page when our cookie practices change and update the "Last updated" date at the top.
